The state Department of Health has closed Sequim Bay to all shellfishing due to elevated levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxin found in the water.
Shellfishing has also been closed or limited in several other areas.
Discovery Bay is also closed for all shellfishing as is the Strait of Juan de Fuca between Cape Flattery to Low Point at the Lyre River.
The Strait of Juan de Fuca between Dungeness Spit and Diamond Point is closed for harvesting butterclams.
