SEQUIM — Sequim author Wulf Moon received the Writers and Illustrators of the Future award at the 35th Writers of the Future Contest on April 5 at the Taglyan Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
For the contest, Moon was paired with Bellevue artist Alice Wang who created an illustration for his short story, “Super-Duper Moongirl and the Amazing Moon Dawdler.”
Moon’s entry is his fifth published work of science fiction.
According to a press release, 15-year-old Wang is the youngest winner in the history of the contest.
The story and its illustration will be published in the upcoming anthology “L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future, Volume 35.”
