SEQUIM — Work crews from the state Department of Transportation will begin four days of early morning road work on U.S. Highway 101 on Monday.
Crews will work on the eastbound lane near Simdars Road from 4 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to a press release.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, crews will work east of the River Road overpass.
On Thursday morning, work is scheduled on the eastbound off-ramp to Sequim Avenue; exiting traffic will use the shoulder.
Travelers can expect single-lane alternating traffic, intermittent stops and congestion approaching the work zones.
All the work is scheduled between 4 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., but it is weather dependent and may be rescheduled, WSDOT said.
