Rhody Festival contestants announced for 2020

PORT TOWNSEND — This year’s Rhododendron Festival contestants, Chimacum High School senior Hailey Hershal,17, left, Chimacum High School junior Brigitte Palmer, 17, center, and Port Townsend High School junior Jenessah Seebergoss, 17, were announced Sunday at the candidate tea sponsored by Quench.

The 2020 85th Rhododendron Festival Theme is “Stop and Smell the Rhodies.” The coronation will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Chimacum High School auditorium. The festival will take place the third full weekend of May.
