This week’s schedule of free outdoor music on the North Olympic Peninsula:
■ SEQUIM — Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Ranger and the Re-Arrangers (gypsy jazz).
Sequim’s Music in the Park series is every Tuesday evening through Aug. 26 at the outdoor James Center amphitheater in the Sequim Water Reuse Park, 563 N. Rhodefer Road, just north of Carrie Blake Park.
Bring a chair or blanket to the grassy expanse in front of the amphitheater and a picnic meal to enjoy while listening to the performance.
Next Music in the Park: Locos Only (rock and blues), July 8.
■ PORT ANGELES — Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Ranger and Re-Arrangers (gypsy jazz).
The Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Concert on the Pier series is every Wednesday night through Sept. 3 at City Pier.
City Pier is a dog-friendly, no-smoking, no-skateboards, no-alcohol venue.
Some chairs are available for the disabled and early arrivals.
Next Concert on the Pier: Haywire (blues and rock), July 9.
■ PORT TOWNSEND — At 7:30 p.m. Friday (Fourth of July), the 40-member Port Townsend Summer Band (standards, Broadway, marches, music from around the globe) will present its annual Independence Day concert at the American Legion hall, 209 Monroe St.
■ SEQUIM — Friday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sequim City Band (Fourth of July concert, patriotic tunes and marches.)
The band plays at the James Center for the Performing Arts amphitheater in the Sequim Water Reuse Park, 563 N. Rhodefer Road, just north of Carrie Blake Park (see second item).
Bring your own seating, family and a picnic.
■ PORT TOWNSEND — The free Port Townsend Concerts on the Dock music series begins Thursday, July 10, with The Better Half (R&B, soul and funk-rock) playing from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Pope Marine Plaza in downtown Port Townsend.
Sponsored by Port Townsend Main Street, the concerts will continue every Thursday through Aug. 28.
The concerts are for all ages.
A wine, beer and cider garden also will be available at the plaza beginning at 4:30 p.m.
