Esprit Gala opens its doors to area residents today during its planned Black Shiny Blues event.
Area residents can attend the concert featuring Seattle blue band Annieville in the ballroom of Port Angeles CrabHouse, in the Red Lion Hotel at 221 N. Lincoln St.
Admission is free to anyone wearing black, patent leather high heels, including men.
Otherwise, admission costs $5, with proceeds benefitting Hospice of Port Angeles.
Black Shiny Blues begins at 8:30 p.m.
Esprit Gala is a transgender conference specifically geared for cross-dressers, transsexuals and intersexed people.
The conference runs through Sunday at Red Lion Hotel.
