A healing ceremony on the site of the former Klallam village of Tse-whit-zen will be held Saturday afternoon — “rain, snow or sunshine.”‘
Native and non-Native people “who want to participate in a positive and heartfelt way” are welcome from noon to 4 p.m. at the site of the former Hood Canal Bridge graving yard project at 1501 Marine Drive, Port Angeles, said Arlene Wheeler and Frances Charles of the Lower Elwha Klallam tribe.
Food will be provided at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal Center following the ceremony.
