Port Townsend: Two firemen investigated for alleged sexual assaults

PORT TOWNSEND — Two city firemen are under investigation by the state Department of Health for alleged sexual assaults.

The state’s Department of Health certifies individuals and licenses agencies that handle emergency medical services.

Police Chief Kristen Anderson-Post said her department has no active open case involving either fireman.

But the unrelated allegations against both were investigated by the city.
