PORT TOWNSEND — The only certainty is that Jennifer Lopez and her new movie will have an impact on Port Townsend.
The actress-singer comes to town in mid-June for filming of the Columbia Pictures film, “Enough.”‘
Cathy Sander of the Washington State Film Office said the impacts of the movie to Port Townsend and the Peninsula region could be significant, even long after the production has turned off the klieg lights and returned to Hollywood.
Sander talked to Olympic Peninsula business owners and tourism promoters during a “Tourism Tuesday” meeting at the Upstage Restaurant.
“There is no formula,” Sander said. “It could be a breeze and they’re here and gone in a week or so and I don’t hear from them again — or it could be a nightmare for two weeks.
“Each production is different.”
