PORT TOWNSEND –– There’s a new way to arrive at the theater in Port Townsend — by water.
Key City Public Theatre, in partnership with Puget Sound Express and the Resort at Port Ludlow, is presenting two Key City Cruises this summer to its live theatrical shows.
The $55 tickets include admission to the play, the cruise, and onboard refreshments.
On Wednesday, theater patrons can board a Puget Sound Express boat at Port Ludlow Marina at 6:15 p.m. and cruise to Key City Playhouse, 419 Washington St., to attend a special performance of “A Life in the Theater.”
The play stars career Hollywood actor and Port Townsend resident John Considine and is running at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays through July 13.
Another show cruise will take patrons to the Aug. 14 performance of the Key City Cabaret, “Broadway Music & Memories.”
The one-way boat trip is 45 minutes, and the vessel will dock at Point Hudson Marina.
Patrons will be back at Port Ludlow Marina at about 10 p.m.
Tickets are available from the playhouse box office at 360-385-5278 or online at www.keycitypublictheatre.org.
