Port Townsend: Take a peek into lavish Victorian homes this weekend

The Jefferson General Hospital Auxiliary is inviting the public into other people’s homes. Come right in, feel free to roam about the place and take back all the ideas for decorating or dreaming you’d like.

Don’t call the police. It’s OK, really. The auxiliary is sponsoring the Port Townsend Homes Tour featuring many of the Victorian homes listed on the National Register in the seaport town on Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Sept. 22.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Tickets are $12 for adults in advance and $6 for children younger than age 12. Tickets the day of the event are $15 for adults and $7 for children younger than age 12.

Tickets will be available in front of the Visitor Center (2437 East Sims Way, Port Townsend).

The tour is self-guided (map provided) and may be done on either Saturday or Sunday, or both days on a more leisurely pace. You may visit the sites in any order you choose.
