PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson General Hospital commissioners have approved a $28 million budget for the hospital.
The budget includes a 12 percent increase in the price of some patient services as well as staff reductions.
The budget is about $4 million higher than the 2002 budget.
Administrator Vic Dirksen said Friday the price increases will mostly affect people admitted to the hospital.
Hospital officials have yet to announce which services will cost more.
