Port Townsend City Councilwoman Catharine Robinson is seeking a second term in office, she said Monday.
Along with the Monday candidacy filing of city Planning Commissioner Frank Benskin, all four open City Council positions will have a candidate for the Nov. 4 election.
Monday was the first day of in-person candidacy filing at the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office in the county courthouse. Filing continues by mail and at the courthouse through 5 p.m. Friday.
Benskin filed for the council seat currently held by Joe Finnie, who has stated he probably won’t run.
Also on Monday, Laurie Medlicott filed for the position being vacated by Al Youse, who is not seeking re-election, and Geoff Masci officially began his bid for another term.
