PORT TOWNSEND — The Wooden Boat Foundation is gearing up for its 12th annual Shipwrights’ Regatta.
This year, the race celebrating shipwrights is slated for Feb. 1.
The regatta, the organization’s first event of the season, is open to all sailboats, regardless of design or material, Wooden Boat Foundation officials said.
Boats offering crew space will receive an entry in the drawing for the Van Hope Award — a free haul-out donated by the Port of Port Townsend.
There will also be other prizes.
