PORT TOWNSEND — New life appears to be destined for the old state ferry dock on Quincy Street.
Local entrepreneur Kevin Harris and the Port of Port Townsend, which owns the dock, are working out an agreement to revitalize the dock to provide public access to the waterfront.
Harris also envisions a new cultural center with theater productions, concerts and a farmers market using the area.
The dock was retired in the early 1980s when construction of the of the ferry dock at the entrance to downtown was completed.
