Port Townsend Main Street Program to host awards celebration

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Main Street Program will have its annual membership event Thursday.

It will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Old Whiskey Mill, 1038 Water St.

The event will feature Main Street news, board recognition and awards that include the Main Street Champion, Volunteer of the Year and Collaborator of the Year.

The event, hosted by the Main Street board, features free appetizers and dessert and a no-host bar for current members and sponsors.

“We look forward to celebrating the many accomplishments of our Main Street Program with our members and sponsors who have supported our work throughout the year,” board President Sandy Spencer said in a news release.
