Port Townsend: Four ferry runs tonight and Friday canceled by low tides, ebb currents

Washington State Ferries’ MV Quinault will be left at the dock for two scheduled runs tonight and Friday because of low tides and ebb currents between Port Townsend and Keystone.

But two extra runs will be added each day.

Today: The 8:30 p.m. run from Port Townsend and 9:15 p.m. departure from Keystone will be canceled. An extra run from Port Townsend will depart at 10 p.m., and one from Keystone will leave at 10:30 p.m.

Friday: The scheduled 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. runs from Port Townsend and Keystone, respectively, also will be canceled. They will be replaced with an 8:15 p.m. departure from Port Townsend and 9:15 p.m. departure from Keystone.
