The Jefferson County Auditor’s Office tabulated 85 more ballots Wednesday, ending the general election count without significantly changing results.
County Auditor Donna Eldridge reported 14,359 ballots returned of the 21,298 ballots issued to Jefferson County voters. That brings the general election voter turnout to 67.42 percent.
The final mail-in ballots counted Wednesday were votes that arrived with a Nov. 8 postmark that were received later through the mail, Eldridge said.
The election is scheduled to be certified Nov. 29.
