PORT TOWNSEND — A bond issue passed this week boosted expenses in the city’s 2004 budget to about $25.7 million.
The $2.3 million in bonds will fund capital projects, including City Hall restoration and swimming pool repairs.
The bond issue narrowly passed 4-3 at the council’s Monday meeting, with Geoff Masci, Catharine Robinson and Al Youse opposed to the plan.
