BRINNON — A woman injured in a motorcycle wreck Sunday remained in satisfactory condition at a Seattle hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Christina M. Atwood, 48, of Port Orchard failed to negotiate a right-hand curve on her red 2004 Harley-Davidson X1883 motorcycle while traveling south on U.S. Highway 101 near Bee Mill Road in Brinnon at about 1:25 p.m. Sunday, according to a State Patrol report.
The motorcycle crossed the northbound lane and struck the guardrail, the State Patrol said.
Atwood was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, which reported her condition Tuesday.
She was wearing a helmet that met state Department of Transportation regulations, the State Patrol said.
