Port Ludlow: Mats Mats Quarry open house Friday

Mats Mats Quarry hosts its annual open house from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

Glacier Northwest is the quarry’s parent company.

This is the ninth open house Glacier Northwest has hosted to give neighbors a chance ask questions about the operation and take a bus tour of the quarry.

The open house includes a free barbecue this year, a popular attraction in recent years.

People wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by calling the quarry at 360-437-2211.

The quarry is located at 360 Quarry Road, at the end of Olympus Boulevard.
