PORT ANGELES — The intersection of West Eighth and South I streets will be converted from a two-way stop to a four-way stop effective Monday, Oct. 14, the city has announced.
The move, meant to address safety concerns and improve traffic flow in the area, will take place at approximately 9 a.m.
The installation of the signage is not expected to interrupt traffic.
Advanced warning signs will be placed before the intersection to give drivers early notice about the new four-way stop.
Drivers are asked to use caution when driving in the area.
