Port Angeles: State Supreme Court Justice Owens keynotes drug court graduation today

State Supreme Court Justice Susan Owens is the featured speaker at today’s Clallam County Adult Drug Court graduation.

Owens, a former Clallam County District Court judge in Forks, will address drug court participants and the largest graduating class since the court’s inception three years ago.

Court begins at 2 p.m. in Clallam County Superior Court at the county courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Graduation ceremonies are scheduled for 4 p.m.

Drug court participants undergo a one-year program of strict monitoring and treatment, and criminal drug charges are dropped if they successfully complete the program.
