City officials expect it to be lifted Tuesday morning after a water main from the Elwha River source is repaired made today.
Until the water emergency is lifted, city residents are prohibited from watering lawns, washing parking lots and other paved areas and washing cars, trailers and boats for non-commercial purposes.
Today a city crew will dig eight feet down to the westside main to assess the leak.
