Attorneys are expected to present their opening arguments today in Clallam County Superior Court in Port Angeles in the trial of Douglas Eugene Baker, 50, accused of using his Sequim gravel delivery business as a front for selling drugs.
The prosecution and defense Tuesday selected a jury for the trial, which is being heard by Jefferson County Superior Court Judge Thomas Majhan.
Baker is charged with numerous counts of cocaine delivery and money laundering. Investigators contend he used his company, Hardrock Trucking, to conceal sales of cocaine to customers on the North Olympic Peninsula.
The trial is scheduled to last two weeks.
