The Jazz in the Olympics Society will sponsor the Jazz in the Olympics Festival in Port Angeles April 26 through April 28. Nine bands will be featured in events being held in three venues.
Pat Sorensen, president of Jazz in the Olympics Society, said the 8-year- old non-profit organization provides a musical event once a month which includes food, drinks and dancing for its 350 members from throughout the Peninsula.
Its mission is to perpetuate Dixiland jazz music.
