Port Angeles” newest teen center, Tempest, to host open house

PORT ANGELES — The new teen center Tempest will host an open house Saturday.

Youth and adults who spent the past 18 months preparing the center just east of the downtown district promise a unique experience for all teen-agers.

Tempest is located in the former Aggie’s Inn building at 343 East First St.

“Our mission, in part, is to provide teens with opportunities that improve their life skills,” Tempest Executive Director Ross Turkus said Thursday.
