PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College officials will begin moving into the new $3.34 million Student Center Building in late February.
Construction on the two-story building began in December 2002 and will take about two more months to complete than anticipated.
“We were hoping to move in by December, but there have been some delays,” said Barbara M. Martin, vice president of administrative services. “But we will move in during the third week of February and have a public dedication ceremony after we settle in.”
Martin said the ceremony date has not been set yet.
College officials say the new building was needed to better accommodate student needs.
