Parents can bring young children (kindergartners, first graders and second graders) to be photographed and fingerprinted for free during “Commitment to Kids”‘ Safety ID Day in Port Angeles on Saturday.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Port Angeles Ford Lincoln Mercury, 1527 E. Front St.
PA Ford is participating in a nationwide child identification campaign to make it easier to find missing children.
Parents will get free child identification kits, along with their kids’ fingerprint cards and photos. Only 350 ID kits are available.
“It’s a great opportunity for parents to protect their children,” said Kathy Oster of PA Ford.
