PORT ANGELES — Police talked a man out of jumping from the western Eighth Street bridge early Thursday morning.
Officers responded around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday night.
The bridge and state Highway 117, which crosses under the bridge, were closed while Det. Jack Lowell and Cpl. Kevin Miller talked with the man.
The man was talked out of jumping and the roads were reopened around 12:30 a.m., Lowell said Thursday.
