Three federal employees received a “presidential citation” from the Clallam County Historical Society in a ceremony Sunday afternoon at Port Angeles City Hall.
Museum Exhibit Coordinator Pat Gallup presented the award to Supervisor Steve Weller and crewmen Victor Perkon and Bill Scofield for “their special help and extraordinary effort in support of Clallam County Historical Society exhibits in the federal building.”
The three work for the federal General Services Administration as members of the building’s janitorial staff.
Gallup said the award was created to recognize people around the county who make an effort to enhance the historical aspects of the county.
