PORT ANGELES — A 54-year-old Port Angeles High School custodian arrested for secretly taking photos under girls’ skirts will be arraigned May 7 in Clallam County Superior Court.
Gary Alan Boyd of Port Angeles allegedly photographed girl students at the high school without their knowledge, police said after his Monday arrest.
Boyd was charged in Clallam County Superior Court on Tuesday with one count of voyeurism and one count of attempted voyeurism.
He remained in the Clallam County jail Tuesday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
Police said Boyd used a small, handheld digital camera to photograph “up girls skirts” at stairwells.
Boyd had a digital camera containing a dozen photos when he was arrested on the high school campus, Port Angeles Police Department Sgt. Erick Zappey said.
Zappey said police seized the camera for evidence.
Port Angeles Police Chief Tom Riepe said police have identified one of the girls pictured in the camera, and said detectives are continuing the investigation.
