Port Angeles: Fluoridation speakers today at PA chamber

Water fluoridation in Port Angeles is the program at the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce’s no-host luncheon meeting today.

Dr. Steve Chapman, Dr. Todd Irwin, Cindy Newman and Jim Leskinovitch are the speakers.

The group contends fluoridation will improve dental health and reduce hospital emergency room visits for dental problems. The City Council plans a public meeting on the issue Feb. 18.

The chamber meeting is open to the public and begins at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Port Angeles CrabHouse Restaurant, 221 N. Lincoln St.
