PORT ANGELES — Technical issues with a telephone line out to Port Angeles’ new fluoridation building appear to be resolved and fluoridation of the city’s water supply should begin in the late morning or early afternoon today.
Glitches in the telephone line out to the west-side building delayed Monday’s planned start-up of the city’s long-planned fluoridation of its water supply.
Mike Puntenney, the city’s deputy director of operations, said late Wednesday afternoon that with the technical issues resolved, final testing of the system will be done this morning.
Then fluoridation should begin in the late morning or early afternoon, he said.
