PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles School District holds its third and final public meeting tonight on its budget crisis.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Port Angeles High School auditorium, 304 E. Park Ave.
It will give parents and other local residents a final opportunity to question school officials and express opinions about possible school closures and other sweeping cutbacks to meet a $1 million budget deficit.
Among those expected to attend is Superintendent Gary Cohn, who was out of town during last week’s two meetings.
District officials moved the meeting from the Senior and Community Center to provide more room.
The prior meetings have attracted about 150 people and have been standing-room-only.
