The Port Angeles Downtown Association board of directors voted unanimously Wednesday to reaffirm its “unwavering support”‘ for the Oak Street hotel/conference center.
The board, comprised of downtown merchants, took the action because of the “recent opposition and unwarranted negativity toward this project.”
Tod McClaskey, owner of the Best Western Olympic Lodge, said this week he will sue to stop the $16.5 million project, though he is not sure on what grounds.
