Port Angeles crews working to repair failed water mains

PORT ANGELES — City crews are working to repair two water mains in the city today after they failed late Monday night.

The 8 inch asbestos concrete mains are at Whidby and Peabody streets and Whidby and Laurel streets, according to a notice issued by the city today.

The city said repairs are in progress and should be complete, with water back on for all residents, by midday today.
