Time is standing still again at the Clallam County Courthouse.
Clallam County Public Works Director Craig Jacobs said he has received numerous calls regarding the Port Angeles landmark clock, which stopped working over the weekend.
The clock first stopped in December, when one of the original motors that carries weights to its top developed problems. The motor was sent to Tacoma for repairs and the tower’s bearings were replaced
The motor was returned, but it obviously didn’t work, Jacobs said.
“We will get it fixed. The clock is stopped but we intend to fix it and get it back into operation. It will just take some time,” Jacobs said.
