PORT ANGELES — The man who held up a convenience store at gunpoint and fled with a handful of cash late Tuesday night continued to elude police Wednesday.
No one was injured when the robber entered Road Runner Food Mart, 1023 E. Front St., just before midnight, pointed a gun at two clerks and demanded money from the till, police said.
Officers on Wednesday interviewed several people about the crime but have no suspects, Deputy Chief Terry Gallagher said.
“We don’t have any information,” he said.
A white male wearing a dark-colored stocking mask entered the store Tuesday “brandishing what appeared to be a .45 caliber semiautomatic handgun,” police Sgt. Erick Zappey said.
