It’s time for the Port of Port Angeles to get back on track in searching for a permanent executive director to replace “caretaker” and temporary director Clyde Boddy, a business group said Tuesday.
“(Boddy) has performed well as a caretaker in some turbulent times, but we believe the commissioners should now begin the search and selection of a permanent director,” the Port Angeles Business Association said in a letter to the Port commissioners.
The letter was drafted after discussion by the membership at the PABA’s weekly breakfast meeting Tuesday.
Property assets of the Port, such as Fairchild International Airport and Port Angeles Harbor, “have not been fully utilized,” the letter said.
