Police seek information in Port Townsend pharmacy burglary in which narcotics stolen

PORT TOWNSEND — Police plan to interview a person or people of interest in connection with the burglary of Don’s Pharmacy in which more than 1,000 pills and medications — some of them heavy narcotics — were stolen.

The medications were stolen from the pharmacy at 1151 Water St., on Friday. Police said that the back door apparently was left unlocked.

Sgt. Troy Surber of the Port Townsend Police Department said police have located a person or people of interest whom they plan to interview. He declined to provide any other details.

Police could not release a list of the stolen medications because the list is incomplete at this time, Officer Patrick Fudally, department spokesman, said today.

Don’s Pharmacy’s back door faces the water.

Anyone with information that might lead to the location of the thief or thieves or stolen items is asked to call the Port Townsend Police Department at 360-385-3831.
