Photo: Santa arrives by canoe in Port Angeles

Santa Claus, portrayed by John Hubbard, accompanied by young pullers, arrives in a canoe owned by the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe during a Christmas season kickoff on North Laurel Street in downtown Port Angeles on Saturday.

The event featured holiday music, hot chocolate and lighting of the downtown Christmas tree at the Conrad Dyar Memorial Fountain.
