PORT ANGELES — The first unit completed in Phase 1 of the Peninsula Housing Authority’s redevelopment of Mount Angeles, which is called Sea Ridge, was open for tours Wednesday after a dedication ceremony at Whidby Avenue and Eunice Street. Kay Kassinger, executive director of the Peninsula Housing Authority, far right, unlocks a unit — a two-story townhouse with three bedrooms — to show it to, from left, Sissi Bruch, Port Angeles mayor; Michael Look of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development office in Seattle; and Terry Weed, chairman of the board of the Housing Authority. When finished, the development will have 63 units.
