Terry Ward, regional publisher of the Olympic News Group — which includes the Peninsula Daily News, the Sequim Gazette and the Forks Forum — talks with Annie Welch of Port Townsend, president of the Strait Air Volksgrüppe, after the club donated $1,400 to the Peninsula Home Fund.

The money was raised through proceeds from the North Olympic Folksfair XII, the Volkswagen group’s annual car show last August in Blyn.

The Home Fund, administered through the Peninsula Daily News, provides assistance to needy families and individuals.
