Person on way to hospital after apparent drowning

OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — A person was pulled from the water of Lake Crescent near Fairholme late Saturday afternoon and it is not known at this time what the person’s condition is.

The person was being given CPR on the way to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles at about 5 p.m. today, according to the Olympic National Park dispatcher.

The person was not identified. Age, gender and hometown also were not available today.
