Peninsula Junior Rodeo continues today at Clallam County Fairgrounds

The action is fast and furious for the 2005 Peninsula Junior Rodeo this weekend at the Clallam County Fairgrounds in Port Angeles.

Today’s sanction rodeo starting at 9 a.m. caps a two-day event that included a peewee/buckaroo nonsanctioned rodeo on Saturday.

The peewee class is ages 6-8 years, and the buckaroos are age 5 and younger.

Events barrel racing, goat typing, ribbon bulldogging, steer daubing, bareback and bull riding, calf roping and dummy roping.

Today’s contestants will also include the junior 9-13 age group, and the senior 14-18 age group.

The fairgrounds are located at 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.
