For the Olympic coast and Olympic Peninsula’s West End, forecasters predict showers this morning and rain in the afternoon.
West winds around 10 mph will shift to the south at 10 mph in the afternoon.
Then Tuesday, the West End is expected to see more of the same rainfall with south winds gusting to 25 mph. Forks reported an inch of rain Sunday.
The snow level in the Olympic Mountains is at 3,000 feet and lowering, the Weather Service said.
