Officials from Costco Wholesale Corp. say they are contemplating expanding their Carlsborg warehouse.
But there are no concrete plans to do so because the store is “landlocked.”
“We have looked at the potential for enlarging the store for some time,” said Jim Sinegal, president and chief executive officer of Costco, based in Issaquah.
“It has been a very successful unit for us but we may be landlocked — meaning it may be difficult to get the expansion configuration we want.”
The Costco outlet at 100 Hooker Road, at U.S. Highway 101, opened in 1993.
