Students attending Peninsula College this fall will pay more for an education.
Budget cuts, salary increases and rising energy costs are blamed for increasing the cost of a college credit by $3.40 at all of Washington’s 29 community colleges.
A daily one-hour class at Peninsula College that offers five credits toward a degree will cost $290.50, $17 more than last year.
Each college credit will grow from $54.70 to $58.10.
