Peninsula College offering free financial aid workshop

PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College will conduct a free financial aid workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.

Drop-ins are welcome throughout the workshop at Student Services in the college’s D Building, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The workshop will help college-bound students, and their parents, fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA).

Students do not need to be enrolled at or planning to enroll at Peninsula College to attend the workshop.

Attendees should bring, if available, their Social Security number or alien registration number for foreign nationals; federal income tax returns, W-2s and other records of income; bank statements and investment records; records of non-taxable income; and their federal student aid ID to electronically sign their applications.

Students who are dependents will need the same records for their parents or guardians.

Students without the necessary records will not be able to complete the application at the workshop, but may attend anyway to get help with the application process.

For more information, cal the college at 360-417-6471 or email discoverpc@pencol.edu.
